very regretfully, I must post my custom made Trust cored intercooler for sale as the new turbo direction I'm taking means I physically can't use it. massive sad panda as it's one of my favourite pieces on my car.

it's a one off unit I imported from Japan, reportedly build for a twin TD-05 equipped 3.2 litre monster. the core is a GReddy Trust item, massive 100mm thick.

    - No piping included
    - Will not fit cars with AC
    - Two end tanks are 2", one is 2.5" and one is a Z32 AFM flange. Don't ask me why; I bought it like this. To avoid fabrication I'm happy to provide a bolt-on AFM flange to accept a hose coupler
    - Mounting brackets included, two differing upper units provided depending on how you choose to mount the unit. Lower unit is simply a modified OEM oil cooler mounting bracket
    - Fins are in practically as-new shape and cooler is internally clean

Cooler sits well and truly between the headlights and is designed to keep piping as short as possible, going straight past the radiator back to the motor. It is clear no expense was spared in the construction of this.

Not your average Z32 FMIC and not for the average Z32 owner, priced accordingly.

$750 ONO, not attempting to break even. Offers considered.

Pickup encouraged in North Sydney, happy to post. Any questions fire away.

Not a selling point as such but just realized this is is a modified version of the super super old school GReddy FMIC kit seen on heaps of the old school Jap demo cars.

This is how it looks before somebody swapped air con for reduced piping length (totally worth it).

Looks like it would be easier to modify than sell lol

Still for sale, I know it's an out there piece for decent money but if I could land $500 I'd be happy... not holding my breath, lol.

Much less and I'll simply hang on to it, finish it when I pick up an AC tig, make up the piping and sell it as a complete kit ready to bolt on (for twice as much).

Awkward happy snap hanging on the garage wall, hah. Core size is approx. 27 x 40 x 10. Three of the ports are taped up in the pic to stop dust getting in, I pulled the tape off of the AFM flange so you could see.

Cool. I have a track day this Saturday. On the dyno and at racewars my coolers cannot cope with my boost levels. Intake temps spiking to over 70 degrees.

I'll let you know on Sunday if I need this.. Looks wikkid... I'm just a fan of side mounts for engine temps. But as they're not even slightly an issue yet. This maybe the way to go

Killer. Your car is exactly the kind of thing this cooler is destined for.

OEM side mount positions are for oil coolers ;)

have you ever considered that perhaps this cooler is just too epic for most z applications?

most Z's might struggle to cope with its Epicness.

    just sayin!

hey buddy.. well intake temps were still an issue on the track the other night.. holding steady around 65 degreesC

i was having a look at my car today and deciding im probably going to have to redo all the ally intercooler piping ive just made to get this to work.. which isnt exactly a deal breaker.. but what i couldnt figure out, with this design, where does the turbo inlet piping go? it essentially ends up underneath the hot and cold intercooler pipes, with nowhere to go?

On a factory car the inlets end up in the SMIC positions under the headlights, with AFM's simply coming off of the factory accordion pipes. It'd be the same with your car; up over the frame rail. You'd probably be able to keep at least half the piping you currently have so it won't be too bad.

There are heaps of cars out there with the intake set up how I've described, in fact yours is the only one I've seen with intakes routed around the base of the radiator like that :p

A "factory car" minivans is not.

Do it Andrew, it will be awesome - or possibly epic as advertised.

Epic not included. Can included if you give me original asking price, what I paid for it :p
