EOI - Silicon hoses to replace the 2 short water bypass hoses at front of engine

Hey all,

I recently purchased a long length of silicon hose for a job i'm doing on another car and I've noticed that it's the same diameter as the bypass hoses behind the front water pipes. Here is a pic



This size silicon hose was quite hard for me to find when I was looking so I thought others might be interested in replacing theirs now that i've found a source for it. (For all I know it might be very common and I just wasnen't looking in the right places lol) But anyway, if theirs enough interest this will go ahead.

It's a pretty easy job but does require a bit of time and removing a few parts. You can do it by just removing the fan shroud and fan but it's a bit easier to remove the radiator aswell. I'll be getting a new radiator soon so I will replace these hoses with silicon ones for sure.

The hose is made by Thermal Flex which is a US company and as I understand it makes very high quality hoses.

Only comes in Blue, but can't really be seen anyway.

The approximate price will be around $20 Delivered for the 2 hoses. Possibly slightly more to WA.
This should be the maximum price. If there is enough interest I might be able to negotiate a cheaper price but when we're talking about something this cheap to start with at most it will be a dollar or two off the price but i'll do what I can.

So, express you interest and we'll see what's happening in a week or two.

What type of silicone hose is it? Thermal Flex manufacture different types for different purposes, different ply with different reinforcing.

I get good pricing on Thermal Flex as I buy heaps of it. PM me and I'll see if I can better your current deal.

Ok everyone I'll give this a bit of a bump for a week then it's going to rock and roll

Good news is I've secured cheaper pricing, it's now $17 a pair delivered. So get em while their hot!!

As i said before, just to cover myself their might be a very small additional postage cost for some buyers. I'm not making any money out of this so I don't want to get stuck with any excess postage costs that's all

Sorry folks, blue is the only option i'm afraid.

But seriously, these are virtually hidden completly once installed. You might be able to see them if you don't run a fan shroud though.

The main reasoning behind installing these though is for their strength and longevity

Just install a few more shiny bits on your engine to draw peoples attention away though lol
