At least with the 2K bars I get to deal with NISSAN direct!.........which makes things a LOT easier!

So I can confirm that there are DEFINITELY 5 more 2K front bar kits now available!......I just need to get hold of Simon (which potentially could take ages!) to sort out the price I can sell them for???........I'm hoping it will still be the same as the last batch??.......which was $775 gst inc INCLUDING the indicators + delivery!

Will post them up in FSBB as soon as I know the final price?

I missed out on this GB while on a Month+ holiday. Surpised to see some available.

One question whats this shaved/unshaved business? Quick google search I would assume its for license plate fixture.

Hmm is Rob260's Z sig one thats shaved with a wider openning?? [I assume]

 

Rob doesn't have a 2k spec front, but it is shaved (not sure if those GReddy/UAS bars ever came with number plate mounts).

These 2k spec bars are urethane so if you want the licence plate mount shaved you'll need a plastic welder to do it for you... not as easy as fibreglass.

 

Ahh okkkies Rob's is different. Cool but I still dont get the shaved/unshaved of the license plate mount? Please explain exact reason why people would want to shave the mount? I havent seen one before so dont know.

EDIT : No need to explain, its all about removing the blocky plate mount. Found the tt.net forum pictures.

 

people shave the mount for a cleaner look, LOWZX had his 1 shaved. Do a search you will find pics of his 1 shaved.

 

Yep fully understand now and have seen the examples. hmmm both 2k spec and UAS look so tempting hard to choose!

I'd ALWAYS go for a urethane front bar over a fibre glass one any day!
