QLD EOI for my zed minus turbos

    Hi guys, I am looking for EOI's on my zed either as a whole (minus turbos unless otherwise discussed) or bit by bit...

    Looking for 7k neg without turbos. I've spent more than that on parts in the last 5 months :eek:

    First preference would be to sell it as it is (with spare block and other bits).

    If going down the bit by bit road, I'd like to see the major bits go first (rebuilt and ported heads, basically new 650 sards, GB, block. interrior etc) and then sell as a rolling shell. Current bottom end has low comp :( Spare block is good.

    Post your interest in bits and we'll go from there...

    Hey Mikey, why not just get a new engine and build up on that rather than get rid of her altogether? nothing wrong with her body, so maybe just hunt for the gizzards instead?

    Very sad to hear, but you have put so much effort and time into her...

    Not selling the turbos seperately, may consider selling them complete with the car.

    Heads, if it turns out that heaps of people want stuff (so its viable for me to sell in parts) would be about $850. They have had portwork done, been reco'd and then another set of new intake valves installed and seated. They were also hardness tested and came back with better than excellent results...

    Yes, alot of time, effort and coin has been thrown at this car, but I'm sick of working on it :(

    Turtle: I really don't want to spend anymore money on it (or time for that matter) I want a running zed NOW!

    That's why I'd like to keep the turbos :)

    Clean slate just kinda feels good atm.

    I'll take the radiator, idle control hose and air guide. :)

    Happy to swap plus money your way so car is still complete if some should want the whole car.

    This car also has:

    • Single 3.5" cat back exhaust
    • FMIC including piping and silicone joiners
    • Front UAS strut brace
    • Carbing style rear strut brace
    • PZP front and rear camber arms and castor rods
    • Polished fuel filter
    • AMG 5 spoke rims. (will need to swap upon purchase with stockers or ford steelies :p so car still has wheels to roll on)
    • Twin ARC BOVs on intake pipes
    • Red plenum
    • ECU is "run in" tuned for the 650's and something like 16psi
    • 5 speed
    • 100k service kit (528 km in)
    • Koni adjustable shocks on stock springs
    • Buddy Club coil overs
    • Chili Brace
    • Drift steering wheel and boss kit

    Other mods:

    • Full EGR Delete
    • Hicas delete (inc lock bar)
    • Plenum Bypass

    But the radiator, idle control hose and air guide are mine!!! :D

    Price also for polished fuel filter. Come with braided lines as well?

    $550 seems to be the going rate for a full set - never fitted :)

    No braided lines mate, filter only... Would like to keep it in the car at this stage tho as I no longer have the stocko to go in...

    Also has UAS 9puck cushion button clutch
    Interior is retrimmed front and back in red and black. Doors and other tweed crap is retrimmed too (winner of SEQ MEGAMEET Best Interior).

    Alpine mp3 headunit and type R splits up front (amp and sub included too)

    Can't think atm but there is more...

    Lifters stripped, acid dipped and re-assembled. Auto cams installed but I have manual cams here too...

    Heads were ported by Niall to clean up casting flaws and angle and then further porting done after that... Pics of Nialls work is in a post on here somewhere I'm sure :)

    Upper plenum is ported and lower plenum is ported to match.

    might be an option for you, am about to acquire a complete TT engine. Diagnosis was blown head gasket, tho wouldnt take his word for it. If you are chasing a good bottom end, can have a look at this one. Was going to use it for a complete rebuild and later swap. Hate to see another member hit the "final straw" and sell up.

    Cool so basicly fro $850 thta gets the heads and the ported lowe plenum to suite ?

    What sort of power gains will this have gained over stock what was you power gain ?

    Manual cams will go straight in or will they need to be machined along woith the jornals or something ?
