With summer on the way, thought you guys might jump at the chance of revitalising your cooling system with this new product.
It actively targets rust and other oxidised particles and debris in the cooling system and heater core.
It chemically reacts with the oxide component, leaving the base metal behind and locking the oxide away within the solution. Then you drain out the solution and replace with coolant and inhibitor etc, and you cooling system will be clean.

Anyway, here is the website for you to have a look at. All the tech notes and info is there for you to see.

and in particular reference to this product
    http://www.evapo-rust.co.nz/Cooling System Flush.htm

The pricing RRP pricing is as follows

Hoping to secure a price of around $100 for a 10 litre container, as our coolant capacity is around 10 litres.
We would need around 15 takers to make it worthwhile.

At $100 it is certainly a cheap preventative maintenance option, and a lot cheaper than a rebuild from cooking your motor.
Even cheaper than a heater core replacement and getting your radiator rodded.
For all those with aftermarket radiators that are fully welded, this is an excellent option as well.
Even if the GB does not go ahead, I will be doing this myself.

I hope this isn't like some of those other products that eat your radiator and heater core and 3 months later you have to replace both... Dislodge all the gook holding my engine together ;)

Why don't you guys go read the article instead of knocking the product.
Some of us do go to some effort to bring you fellas products at the best prices possible.
If you have read the article and still don't want to participate that's fine.

Now, if you have used this particular product and have some constructive criticism than I am happy to hear it, else it seems like you are bored and want to type some unqualified "don't buy this crap, something similar ate my mates radiator 10 years ago rubbish" just knick off and rattle your drum elsewhere. This is an EOI not an expression of disinterest.

This is a new product, give it a fair go hey?

and as for tap water, anyone who purposefully uses untreated tap water in their radiator is asking for trouble.

As I said, I will be doing this myself regardless of any group buy that runs, for me money is not an issue, my Z is the issue.

How many Z will we hear about this summer that have cooked, or popped radiators or heater cores.

and BTW, rust does not hold cooling systems together, rust is porous, so if you remove rust etc from your cooling system, you are not going to start leaking.

Am I grumpy today, YES
