SA EOI : Cruise May 15????

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone out there is interested in getting together for one last cruise before the weather gets bad and all the zeds go into hiding for the winter.

Could even do a movie night at the Gepps Cross drive in if something good is showing, maybe an arvo meet, have tea out somewhere and then cruise to drive in?

Any other ideas guys?

Its a good idea, none the less. But be interesting on what numbers will arrive. May be a farewell zed cruise for me.

 

My Zed never goes into hiding .I'll be up for the movie night at the drive in, but it'll all depends on a few things and what happens, if I make it or not.

Well after a crazy period after moving into our new home in Adelaide, and a couple of blatant hints I am going to organise a get together, so feel free to "cruise" on down. I won't be able to come on a cruise as I am going through SA Transport still for rego on my toy.
Good chance for put faces to names, and enjoy a cuppa.
When: 9:30-11am, 14 May 2010.
Where: Pier Hotel, Largs Bay. (Whereis.com is your friend)

Actually I have been around for a while... like 5 years or so, but I am not what you would actually call a very active member of the forum. I am currently on my second zed, and only re-joined the forum about a year ago.

 

As I stated previously I have been around for a while. To be honest though I do not post messages just for the sake of seein my post tally go up. Yet I read the forum on a daily basis. I have been on a couple of cruises, even in the days when Sally & Pete would turn up.

 

I should be able to make it then. Look forward to meeting you.

 

I'll be in on the cruise and get together. Might bow out of the movie though, I'm not really a movie fan. Cruise when and where? This weekend looks like being wet (it always rains Anzac day - or it's 40 deg.) How about the following Saturday 1st May. Real pretty up through the hills just now with the autumn foliage - Stirling, Hahndorf, etc - just a suggestion.

300ZXC take note of the 14 May meet I have arranged. I suggest that you offer a cruise either too or from it. I not sure where you live but if you went via the hills it would make for a great Sunday morning drive. Especially an early start as it would be before all the mum and dad traffic starts, and you could enjoy the clear roads. Then come down to the Pier Hotel for a cuppa and breakfast, and talk about all the speeding fines you got

 

Tom drives an auto na. He'll be boasting about his go fast stickers...thats about all....that or the disk/caliper paint

And yes we own na/autos too tom....just shush about that though

Dave, sounds mighty fine your idea. Might actually pull the finger and come see your machine. Will pencil it in and see what the missus thinks.

 

Not all of us own n.a autos, mines manual, can't say the same for the TT though. So whats everyone up for? cruise, movie night etc and the day can't be on the 15th of may.

 

If Tom forgives me for my David Copperfield act last time I may pop round for this one!

Daylan. Not entirely sure, im keen for the breaky idea with Dave, but as for a fun run or a cruise, i aint getting outa bed early to come see you fellas before the breaky with Dave.

Ideally, we need some track time. How about we inquire as to the cost involved with getting some of our zeds on mallala, when they have their open days. See how much I can get it for. Dave probably could fill us in, but see how many for how much...sorta thing.
