So the time has come for me to think about selling my twin turbo 300zx. As the title says, i have owned the car for the last 17 odd years, and i am the only Australian owner. I bought the car as a 1 owner car out of Japan. this car has only ever been a weekend car, and never used as a daily driver. While i love this car, the time has come for me to consider a weekender with a back seat to accommodate the growing family. Key Points about the car 1991 300zx TT, Automatic 2 seater 122,000 km. most of which are highway KM, as the car was used for weekends away etc Black, with black leather interior 100% original, expect for the wheels, these came with the car excellent (basically showroom condition) inside and out. to the point, the car has never even been driven in the rain for the last 17 years car will be sold with 12 months NSW rego work done to the car in the last 24 months with age, key things have been replaced including: Water bypass kit fitted EGR bypass fitted Rear main seal replaced Rocker Cover gaskets replaced Oxeygen Sensors replaced New plugs etc under the bonnet as these breakdown with age Receipts available for all this work So at this point this is just an expression of interest. this car would be more suited to a collector etc. I guess at this point i am just trying to work out if there is much demand for a car like this, or if most people are looking for cheap 300zx, so they can modify them etc???
If it's as good as it sounds I would expect to pay $15k-$20k. But that means practically perfect, no bolster wear, no lifting dash, no rusty spoiler, no stuffed weatherstrips. Being auto holds it back in my eyes to a degree.
