    Hey zeders,

Time has come to finally get my engine back into my beloved zed.
It has been off the road for around 12 months so i have taken it upon myself to replace all the fluids in my car.
I have put on lay buy:
    Penrite HPR 1 Engine Oil = $31.96
    Respo 117799 Brake Fluid = $7.99
    Nulon Radiator Flush 300ml = $8.76
    Valvoline DJ Gear Oil 4Lt = $33.52
Valvoline DE Power Steeing Fluid 1 Lt = 10.36
    A Freeze/ A boil Premiumn Coolant 5LT = 16.76

Are there any problems with this combination? The manager for my local supercheap suggested it to me, he also has a 12sec WRx so im hoping he knows what he is on about :zlove: Im hoping this should be sufficient to get the fluids running in my car again. Are there any major dramas or recommendations for mid-range products, im have a N.A so high power applications wont be necessary yet :zlove:

Also another question, i have decided to dress up my engine bay some more, and i need some advice on polishing the plennum. I have the engine out, so should i take the plennum and T.B off together, and polish, or leave it all on the block and polish it there? I as thinking about doing a plennum heater hose removal but the engine was in fine condition when the engine was running with around 114 000km on the clock, and as far as i can see, the hoses are in good conition - vac, arv ect. So how have you polished your plennums? Anything i should look out for, hint/tricks? anything would be handy.

Last question is, i have pulled out the coilpacks and had a look at them (its the first time i have worked on a engine) and i have forgotten which order, and which coil packs go where... :mad2: :mad2:
Do they need to be in any specific order? Can i check for something to make sure they go exactly back where they come from :zlove:

Sorry for the novel, but im a novice at 19 and i have alot of questions to ask, hope you dont mind, and if you need any more information or need to be clearer, i can do that to.

    Thanks in advanced

    Adam

I wouldn't use it, the reason is I have seen what happens to the water pump after using a radiator flush product, get the radiator cleaned and rodded.

Im not sure what the specs are for the above, look in your manual, if the above is to nissan spec's it should be alright.

The coilpacks can be put back anyway you like. They don't have to be in order.

are you saying that the engine is out of the car, but you are NOT going to do a plenum pull / under plenum coolant hose bypass??

Im reading up on some Tech Articles now.

Is there a tech article for plennum polishing? I cant seem to find one in the Tech Articles ... sorry

There isn't a tech article on polishing plennums as far as I know. Do a search a few people have posted up how to do it though. I got halfway through mine and gave up, massive PITA job.
