got mine installed but it seems its blue instead of white x/

 

here is a pic of your one i took before i sent it off i agree its not white, its like a light blue/white. I guess its what the seller calls white. its definitely not a blue one, they are a much stronger blue. You were the only person to get a "white one".

i duno, what difference does it make?? i take photos of everything i mod/convert, just thought id upload it. doesn't look that blue i dont think, just has a slight blue tone i rekon. it does look more blue in photos than it does in the flesh.

ohh well its not my fault, i ordered you a white one and thats what came, thats what the seller obviously calls a white el panel, maybe thats as white as they come, i duno? iv got a few other photos of it and when its not taken in the dark it is white. i think the surrounding light has something to do with blue tone effect (the flash doesn't help).
If it really worries you that much sell the thing, (u will get $150 for it easy) and put a stock one back in. I did you a favour mate, and also installed it for you so you didnt f#ck your panel up, so dont have a go at me.

 

its not white even whenu look at it with ure own eyes its blue. Me having a go at u is because u didnt send me a pic before u sent it back. You did that with my tail lights to see if i wanted u to go along with the process but this time u didnt?

well what do you want me to do about, fly to America and punch the seller in the face?? that's what he considers a White el panel, its not blue. You wouldn't have ever even seen a blue one. The blue ones are nothing like the one you got.

And tail lights are different. i sent you pics of that because you wanted a full clear done, not a normal conversion. if you had a normal conversion done i wouldn't have sent you picks. i just would have sent it back, with personalised mods like that of course you send pics to make sure there happy.

 

are you serious? u think thats more white then blue? it might not be as blue as the proper blue ones u posted a pic of before but its not even close to white. Im guessing you wont take my centre panel back and put a red one in will you?

 

i would, but where do you want me to get a red one from??? i dont supply El panels mate. i just organised the group buy. i could put cello fain over it to make it red but thats all i can think of.

 

you can get the bastard of a supplier to send u a red one for free because he doesnt know what white is. Im sure you are in the right to do that, i didnt pay for a light blue one i payed for a white one.

 

f#cken hell, this is the last group buy i organise. one head f#ck after another. ill send him an email and see what he says, iv had to stuff him around a bit already because a lot of other members cant get there shit together. Not paying on time, wanting to change colours after the order has been placed ect. So i have no idea what hes going to say but there is no harm in asking i guess.

wtf, how is he a dodgy seller? how is aus300zx members not paying on time and then changing colours after the order has been placed anything to do with the seller?? he has actually been really good considering the amount of times i had to change the order due to members being un-organised or changing there mind on colour ect. Out of every one, your the only one with an issue. if you want my help stop having a shot at me or you will be stuck with it. i said ill help you, so stop having a bitch. iv sent him an email and im waiting to hear back. iv asked him for a red one for you.

Put my Blue one in

Got it mostly done, Had to repaint my whole panel cos the color inside was only tint and would have shown the EL panel through too easily, but pretty happy with it now, love the blue panel. Thanks heaps Simon .

Since there seems to be a possible descrepency between what the supplier provides and the expected results, I'd like to ask a question before-hand.
The 99/00 Spec center panel 300ZX logo is red. What would give the best results towards achieving a true red glow illumination? - A white or red EL Panel?
I've got to know this before I go any further since obviously I'll have to do this mod by myself.

Would a red El Panel on the red (99/00) center panel generate a "pink" result?
Or, would a white El Panel produce a truer red illumination on a red (99/00) center panel?
