EC-1 group buy

Every time I post about a potential group buy for this wing people are interested. I've shopped around quite a bit and found a supplier in the US who lists these wings for $430 each. If there is real interest in a group buy, tell me and I'll get in touch with the seller.

I've been in touch with the seller who assured me the product is a genuine VeilSide item.

At this point in time I have no preset number - I'm hoping to gauge interest before I get in touch with the seller again with a vague idea of how many we may be after.

It's worth noting this wing will fit a 2+2 only. Check the way the wing tapers up the hatch fellas. As far as I know it won't go on a 2+0 without modification. The C2 will, not the EC-1. Honestly I don't think it'll be terribly hard to make it fit a 2+0 but I don't want to be responsible for any pissed off people.

That leaves it as:

Does this not look like a 2+0?

The hatch is shorter from the looks of it. The whole back end does actually. But it may just be a play of the photo.

You might want to query the seller as to what models it does fit so you can gauge a larger number for the gb. Furthermore, what is it made from? Urethane or fibreglass? If urethane if will probably have enough flex to suit the hatch taper for each model.

Genuine Veilside are definitely fibreglass, and this wing was only made for the 2+2, dammit Anti couldn't you have run this a few months ago, I just installed my new Veilside wing

 

Really can't decide wether I want in on this or not... Trying to tell myself to stop spending money on my NA and to save for a TT. But this is so damn tempting and sexy.

 

I can assure you that Zed pictured is a 2+2, I've seen other photos of it. I am certain the wing was only produced for the 2+2 and even if it wasn't, it's the only one available.

You aren't even on your P's yet. You have more than 3 years to do up your suspension, body and interior before doing a TT swap. Get on it.

I do have a question....it looks like that a brazillian i attached the to spoiler....it might be just my eyes....do i need to get the infill panel or is that panel attached to the spoiler

 

You are correct, the EC-1 requires a third brake light panel.

 

You need a third brake light panel and I'm pretty confident a brazilian as well. Can anyone put up a photo of the holes left behind when the S1 wing is removed to confirm?
