Ok guys and girls, bit of a late update.

Since she came back, little things here and there have been done/assembled.

-Steering column in + steering wheel. hatch (wiring & trim), boot 90% done.
-Doors are mostly assembled (waiting on new rear quarter windows & tint)
-Long tedious job of moving the fuse box to the passenger side foot well finally done, fuse box + loom installed.
-Small fuse box on the drivers side wired up.
-various rubbers have been cleaned + installed.

So now im currently waiting on a targa hook to arrive (Thanks MickW) + paint targa cap things before the targas can go back together.

Need a new engine harness to modify & install before the heater core, fan box etc can go back in followed by the dash & most of the interior.

AND FINALLY the front bar has been taken out of the box today to fit on for the paint to be cut back tomorrow (to remove the remaining orange peel)
Its starting to look like an actual car now...

Ill post some pictures (before & after cut) tomorrow.

----Keep in mind guys, I have a shit load of spare 2+2 interior parts, various other bits and doubled up parts that are cluttering up the shed I NEED to get rid of. Some 2+0 bits too,
So if you need something, let me know, make an offer, need this shit gone. I cant keep going on feeling like in a tetris game every time i enter and exit the shed.

    :zlove:

Spent the last half of an hour reading this thread from start to finish. amazing attention to detail. i think Mick was hanging out with u tonight because he asked me if i wanted to have a few drinks with him and his mate Alex.... im looking at a Manual TT zed in Melb 2moro so hopefully its not as bad as the price suggests ($4,000) Mick may be coming with depending on his work commitments

Yeah Mick has been ''enlightening'' me
want to do major service and things like plenuym pull so i can start enjoying near trouble free FUN.... see how it goes
if i can get this car cheap then im happy to spend on it and not skimp although mechanics probably wont get to touch it, maybe a dyno operator if i get a nistune but thats prob it

Soon isn't a promising word with this build haha.

We've come to a bit of a wall at the moment until parts arrive. There's always a pretty precise order of putting cars back together it shits ya having to wait lol.

Hi mate wondering if you have the rubber strip that sits on top of the passenger side cowling that sits above the battery? Also maybe the 2 hooks that are on a rear cargo blind? and also if you have any broken headlights, as I am after the metal plates that screw into the plastic light housing that holds the high beam globes?
