    Yep...

I agree :) But as with every workshop, there are haters and lovers. They haven't done anything to me yet to make me a hater :)

Second this . Bryan is very reliable and helpful Guy. I don't mind to travel long way to have my Z fix by him .

I just find the guys at Dontex are lovely...never try to rip me off are VERY informative and customer service is bloody awesome!!

I've never personally spoken to Joe before (supposedly the god there)...but whenever I have dealings with Warren he is very friendly, polite and informative and takes pride in his work...and these days, you just never get mechanics like that...A+++ from me!

    Love them :zlove:

    Yeah me too...

I've had dealings with both Warren and Joe and been shown the how's and why's about when different components have failed and what not... had the engine out once and and front and rear seals done and they're thorough and honest. There's allways at least 2 or 3 zed's there when i turn up too!
Having said that I know Bry is a good bloke but it's a bit far to go from Frankston Sth lol! ;)

I always loved Dontex untill they butchered my car out of pure laziness.

they broke and gouged BRAND NEW injector connecters I had on by popping them
off rather than taking 5 minutes to remove the pins.

won't be going there in a hurry.

My previous experiences with Dontex have always been great and I use to say "I would never send my Z anywhere else". But my most recent experience was definitely not what I expected. I booked it in for an air-con regas but it seems an regas wasn't all that the air-con needed (Couldn't get the temp below 19 Celsius). They had the car for a whole week and when I got the report they had spent 5 hours working on the car in 7 days and I still had to pay $700 and my air-con is still not fixed:mad:.

My first and only experience with dontex was that my z needed and engine rebuild, 0 compression on 1 cylinder and low as hell on all the others. Didn't belive the twits, was only dropping a cylinder randomly, smelled somthing really fishy with these guys. Got into a big argument over releasing the car from their workshop. called for a tow home and eventually worked out that it was an injector connector, was put on a little bit of the wrong track as the ecu-talk was throwing code 21 primary ign circuit. knew it was electrical prob but didnt have the time back then to work it out and had the 100k service kit ready to go so thought they would do that and fix electrical prob while they're there.
Was quoted somthing around 9-15 grand depending on how bad this and that it bottom end yadda yadda Joe kept on talking rubbish couldnt look me in the eyes. by the way car has very good compression.

Been to Brytech once, everything about it, awesome! as. Even let me watch for 2 days strait as the work was done on the car. cant really beat that. We all NEED people like bryan and his staff.

Honest story belive it or not, your choice. as they say ignorance is bliss.
