If you hear a nasty clunk when changing gears or taking off in 1st or reverse, this might apply to you to.

I had installed some energy suspension differential bushings from Coz a while back but after some research decided to go back to OEM.

The reason being, OEM are basically a solid bushing with an insulator, energy suspension have a whole lot more flex which allows the diff to move. They are also a softer compound than the rear bushings which come with the set for some reason.

Anyway, I confirmed that there were some marks on the lower mounting bracket where there had been contact with the diff, unfortunately I didn't think to check the upper section because if I were to do it over, I would try to avoid pulling the diff which is required to press the OEM bushings in.

Instead I'd consider a harder compound after market bushing or if you're not concerned with the movement, try spacing out the lower bracket or shaving off a couple of mm from the diff housing.

i installing the full es kit on my rear end got rid of my diff clunk !! and subframe slop.

sz and spl sell the solid ally diff mounts, beware tho they will be loud !!! and probably pass some more vibration through the car

have a closer look at the back section of your diff on the top , on the left hand side ( passengers side top, rear corner ) ( back housing ) ,, there's your problem ..

the bushes they give you may be the wrong ones...

you diff is hitting your rear sub frame in that corner ..

have a look and let us no how you go ....
    hope this helps ....
