I did some data logging for the first time the other day and noticed something that appears to be very unusual. After looking though the various readings I noticed the ignition timing reading are very erratic, which I find most unusual. The readings may appear a little offset do to the fact that I have a Apexi ITC installed, however, this does not explain the erratic readings I'm getting. Link to data table (size about 800k) Do these fluctuation appear normal or is there something seriously wrong here? BTW, the CAS connector has been cleaned. Also noticed it starts to settle down a bit as the engine begins warming up. I might have to do a more thorough test over the weekend.
Your idle speed seems pretty erratic too given the TPS is reading normal most of the time except for one section there was a bit off the mark. Seems normalish mine used to be erratic like that too. Cannot check now though have the power fc and lost my datascan abilities.
Yeah, my idle has been erratic for a while, just thought logging some data might reveal some clues. Fixed all boost leaks, also pulled apart and rebuilt the IAA unit, might tackle the air regulator next and do a compression test on the engine as well.
