Dash warning lights flicker then Zed stalls.

Driving home last night, the Zed had an electrical hiccup causing it to miss a beat or two.
The dash lights flickered and engine lost power. I had just cleared the crest of a hill and approaching traffic lights which were green so I coasted through and pointed to the breakdown lane. Stopped just in time. Brakes and steering became heavy.
Then just like people on this forum say, it has all happened before, I remembered this has happened to me before. December 2013 on a country road in the middle of nowhere.

Having learnt from that, I popped the bonnet and tapped the CAS plug with my finger. Car starts and I am on my way, driving carefully to avoid bumps in the road.

I just remove the CAS plug and spray some battery contact cleaner in one end and push the plug back on the CAS to share the cleaner and dissolve the oxidation on the contacts.

Then I use a flat toothpick to push some Carbon Contact Grease onto the CAS plug pins and I will push that back onto the CAS.

Hopefully I will get another 5 years without this problem.

    Contact grease was from JayCar.
Foaming battery contact aerosol spray was probably Supercheap. (see photo)
