Crunch on startup

    Ok, i know its either the starter motor or the other part :S

    on a na auto what part do i need to get, is it a flywheel in an auto? or something else? :confused::confused:

    Flex plate is the auto equivielant of the flywheel.

    Pull the starter motor off and have a look at the flew plate ring gear. If it's badly worn then that is likely your problem.

    Changing it is a PITA.

    Is there a tech article? cant find one yet (startermotor) got one for the flywheel (flex plate)

    Tech article to pull the starter? Lol

    2 bolts and one electrical plug :p

    You may have to remove the drivers side exhaust for a bit more room.
