Crown Wheel & Pinion & Diff Bearing & Seal Kit

Guys,

I'm after the above parts for the Zed's (TT Manual) Diff rebuild. I know most will say to go through Coz, which is fine, just seeing if there is any one local, Melbourne Preferably?

If you have the actual part numbers off the bearings and seals, you can just get them from any bearing shop. They're just standard brand bearings.

No sorry I don't have them, yet. I'm sure someone has posted em somewhere though.

 

Its the crown wheel n pinio that is hard to source i beleive.

 

You need an actual crown wheel and pinion? Not just bearings?

Yeah don't think you'll get them anywhere in Aus except genuine.

Coz doesn't list them either. Best bet would be a second hand diff (plenty on eBay) or the 4:11 leader gears from Coz.

 

If i gey a second hand diff will i likely get the same problems?

 

What problems do you have now? Unusual for the crown and pinion to be damaged.

 

Diff had been pulled apart. Apparently bearings are gone and gears are well worn. Gonna replace both whilst its out

 

Diff side shaft bearings: Koyo 32211X
Diff side shaft seals: 25Z 50 70 201 AE

Don't know the pinion numbers yet.
