Well, a few days ago my ZTT was runnin like a truck..all of a sudden on 5 sometimes 4 pots..PTU1 is ok..so I think maybe injectors blocked and not working, so I pour in some injector cleaner and clean the contacts at the cooland sensor..a hour later it runs good again..happy days.
Is stop at the lights and its starts billowing white smoke..I stop the engine and start it again..all good again. Searching several foruims I noticed a lot of cars seem to do it...seems to me cooling water enters a turbo...
PVC valve stuck maybe but judjing by the amount of smoke I think not..
Blown head gasket..mybe, but why does it stop smoking all of a sudden?
After all a gasket is blown or not...and usually the oil gets condaminated with cooland..and the engine would overheat.
Do Non turbo models blow white smoke as well?
I will get the turbos checked.
Any one had this problem and found the cause?

If it is definitely leaking coolant into the cylinder(s) and pouring steam out the exhaust, then the only reason for the steam to cease, is if you run out of coolant(this is normally followed by a loud bang, and a ride on a Tow Truck).

My car did this, blowing white smoke on idle, but only randomly. Turned out to be turbo seals.
    Either turbo seals or PCVs.
If the smoke lingers, it's less likely to be water.
    What does it smell like?

does'nt smell burnt oil ..I am in the process of pulling the plenum...replace the PVC valves
ihave it nearly off..there are a couple of small hoses which are just impossible to reach..ouch!
I wonder if its better to take the engine out and check the heads..
