MagicMike does a 571CKY and as usual, it worked! :D

Trys to get Spigot (spelling) bush out with pliers, screwdriver and who knows what else, FAIL!

Let's pack as much bread in there as we can and bash it in with a bolt. SUCCESS!

Packing the bread in there with no where else to go but behind the bush and outward, it actually budged the bush out of the crank!

I normally use grease instead of bread. But what ever works.

Feel free to drop your box out, remove the clutch and try it yourself. :p

did you use multigrain or wholemeal?

    rockchucker WTF???

I am guessing you are talking about the Pilot Bushing in the end of the Crank? It is great to know that in a bind you can get it out that way but I prefer to use this tool...

A 5/8 wooden Dowel works great too and it won't harm the Crank. It also is less vibration for the Crank. I do not condone beating on the Crank in any way, shape or form. It screws the Bearings up. Especially with solid Hardened Steel Tools and a Hammer.

Ummm, I have the correct tool for this job mike, call me before you go raiding the pantry again:)

    Yes, Pilot Bush.

The term "doing a sticky" is the means of using what you have at hand. ;)Beating bread would do nothing to the bearings.

Why spend $113 on a tool when you can just pinch a slice of bread? :D
It did it's job and did it well.

Mike's just getting everything ready for the weekend so we can concentrate on putting the engine back together and getting it running again.
    Fingers triple crossed this time.

If you bothered to come to Warwick for the nats, you'd know that Cara does the best bacon and egg muffins in the world :p
