Hi all, im new here so i hope it's a nice place... My 300 has just come into date to be imported here so im hoping someone can point me in the right direction regarding who to see for compliance parts. Im wanting to do most the work myself as im a qual. motor tech, welder and engineer. Im not too interested in drive in and drive out places...just want to know who will sell the parts to me that i need and who will sign off at the end...Im in Melbourne... Hope to see you all on a run when she's finished up, it should be here late dec/jan.. ok, be good and drive fast...carefully!
Welcome Flav, yes it's a nice place... I guess Am sure there are compliance guys in Vic. SOme of the vic members will fill you in no doubt. Fill out your profile so we know more about ya. Good to have another mech/tech/engineer around. Feel free to share your knowledge if appropriate. :thumbsup:
First of all, Hi and welcome! Secondly, not that I'm in Vic, so I can't comment first hand, but I believe the Zed shop and Nissport both comply Zeds - they would probably be a good place to start on your search. Also, my Zed was 'complied' by "Willbah", who I have heard basically sell a kit of bits for compliance, including the compliance tag. Not too sure how legal this is or if they are still around, but I thought you might be interested. Oh, and from first hand experience - make sure the door anti-intrusion bars are big strong ones!!:zlove:

I bought the car already complied, and I heard about Willbah from Simon (TTZ), who also has a Willbah Zed.
Compliance, Thanks, im on it and hope they can help out with parts. Im was wondering if this subject has been explored by anyone else? I will also write a detailed report for anyone else who wants to go in this direction, and perhaps save some dollars with their Import choice. I may also offer to help out with modifications and support in the future if needed as we have a decent workshop and top mechanical team. Thanks Flav
