Fate, sounds like you're problem is to do with your speed sensor on your gearbox, either that, or the wiring/connector to it. They're the symptoms buddy, and should be an easy fix.

So, even though we would never have cancelled the party, it has been nice to have 2 days of sun to dry the place out a bit, even though that has resulted in it looking like a jungle thanks to the rain and our son (the mower) having gone M.I.A., but minor details..........

For those that haven't been here before, even if it is bucketing down rain, and we have to abandon the bonfire, we have an area under the house or in the shed where we can keep dry.
