there have been many threads asking about these. Thanks to Medallionman and his locating of the owners manual we now have this pic (pg 51 of said manual)

actually I just went and checked the 2+2 anchor points, mine has them factory covered with a round black sticker and they look like m5 threads, (maybe m8) but I doubt any authorising agent will allow them to be used here in Aus.

My aus spec had something bolted into one of those rear holes in the back, like a strap with a metal attachment on the end and looked a bit similar to the targa straps. They must go through the holes in the boot carpet then?

You actually want to carry a child in the back of the Zed?
Spilled milk and other things on the back seat.
Not to mention back pain trying to get the kid in and out.

    Yes

My 2 year old daughter travels in the back of the Zed. No problems. I just don't give her any foods while in the car.

I always wondered what those extra holes in the carpet were for.. Now I know!

my boot carpet does not even have the holes. and no I am not intending to have a baby seat in the rear of mine, I did have a booster for a while though, it was however before the restraint strap was mandatory. I just figured it would be a good point seeing as there was 1 thread not long ago where the car failed its checks due to not having this mount we now know where it is.
