Just incase no one has seen this before here it is: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300...C-MASSIVE-SMIC-amp-25-Piping-results-PT1.html
I'm fairly keen to try a set of 2.5" pipes and the japtek massive smic's that are out but i'm curious if any of you have any feedback to give? More from people who actually have the pipes and have real experience with them.

Not sure on the intake piping, but I still have a pair of Japtek SMICs for sale if you want to try them?

    That i am.

but i would have thought one or more of you would have tried the 2.5" piping.

  5. yeah i also thought more people on here would have experience with the 2.5 piping. getting over how much power loss there is between driving early morning and driving around midday with the stock coolers. been looking at the largest z1 coolers that will fit the stock 2 inch piping. seems like its my next upgrade. i was originally looking at the ash spec piping kit, but a little out of my price range atm. very keen on seeing what the results are if you go the 2.5

The results of the breather mods have been proven (and debated on here :p)

The above US dyno tests show the results on the same tune and stock throttlebodies.

Adding throttlebodies with a tune to suit will make more of a significant gain .(especially in the midrange)

Piping ,intercooler/s and throttlebodies is the complete upgrade for best results.
