Bonnet Hood

    my bonnet hood and the air fiter cover are surely not made of sheetmetal.my mate reckon is not carbon fibre either but some sort of composite mixture or fibre glass? he's not sure either.

    it is 89 Jspec NA two seater..what material were they supposed to be made of for a stock back then?

    Bonnet is aluminium and the air cleaner cover is urethane

    Yep, stupid aluminium:p bonnet. It's nice cause it's light. but I wanted to put a Red nose there for Red nose day and it's not magnetic...Grrr :p

    Actually..

    ..the Air box cover thingy is made up of a Resin and fibre sandwich with a high density plastic outer.
    I found this out the hard way after modifying mine ...also modified (aka melted) a hole-saw bit and hacksaw blade.
