I am trying to identify technology used, and parts availability for the "300ZX" bling up lighting on my car. The first 3 pictures show the applications - door sill, corner window, centre tail light all of which light up green with the headlights on (my rear hatch window had 0ne as well but the window was smashed in a break-in and the "glo-decal" could not be replaced). The 4th and 5th pic are of the electrical device that powers the lights. It just buzzes and lights don't work so I have disconnected it. Anyone know what that device is and how it works, and where can I get a replacement. thanks
Great collection of altia parts! And yes Rob's most likely right, inverters seem to be a common issue given the age.
Geez the rear hatch altia indiglo panels are extremely rare, that sucks it got damaged. Do you still have whats left of it at least. I have in my possension the door sills and the rear 1/4 window shades. My sill's work fine but the shades no longer light up. I am in the process of repairing both shades with a new indiglo panel but its really hard to make and connect the strip to wiring for power. I also didnt release the backing cover for the indiglo strip was held on by double sided tape and so i used a black adhesive glue to glue it to the shade. I hope i can undo my mistake when i get back into the repair process in the future
