13's the temp sensor, but 34 is Det sensor.

Idk much about the det sensors effect, but to rule it out might as-well bypass it.

  4. Mitch

    Mitch Has one gear: GO

From what I've gathered speaking to hidds, his AT fluid is burnt, and the car won't move in first gear. Second works, but is limited to 3000rpm.

$800 for an Auto box seems reasonable. I paid $700 for my Manual one thats in there now. (even though in the end turns out my original one wasn't the problem which I found out after I sold my supposedly screwed box for $350 /facepalm)

Yeah I did the troubleshoot thing but that will only tell you if something electrical is not working .. if the mechanicals are stuffed then you get no error codes but you don't go forward.. lol
    same here
in the process now of replacement
    good luck

see your local importer and get a auto box from a nissan gloria the boxes have ultra lo k's on them they are also from later model cars than the zeds. and they are only about 200 bucks :) SORRY THIS IS OPTION FOR A TT ONLY

Same belhousing. i thing it might play up with gear changes as tt and na vb's are slightly different

so it would damage my engine/box?

or just change the feel of the drive?

TT box will work in an NA no problems. You need to change the flex plate, convertor and have a custom tailshaft made. Cheaper to source an NA box if you don't want the additional strength offered by switching to a TT box.

im gonna be switching to manual when i do the inevitable TT swap, so a TT box will be part of that kit

i seem to have sourced one from drewy300zx, just waiting on a reply and i can get this ball rolling, and ill have no issues with an install, im hoping a slab of beer will get me over the line from a mate
