I think its the other way around. My 1990 aus spec doesn't have fold in but mums 91j spec does

    The changeover....

.....could involve more than swapping the mirrors & switch assembly.
The wiring could be the biggest issue as your existing harnesses may, or may not have the necessary wiring included.
The mirrors would have sub harnesses that would plug into the door harnesses & the switch would require wiring in the console.
You would need to identify whether your existing harnesses have these provisions.
If they do the conversion should be simple & straight forward.
If they don't, then the conversion has become a major task as the main harness may require replacement if you want a plug & play system.
There needs to be wiring provided to carry the power from the fuse box to the switch, from the switch to a relay or relays, from the relay/s to the mirrors.
Alternatively, rather than changing harnesses, you could run your own circuits.
Nissan FAST may provide information on harness part numbers between the Auspec & JDM models, you would need your VIN & a VIN from a JDM NA 2+2 built in the same time period to confirm.

Thats what i am asking, if the aus spec has the wiring there, or if it would need to be run.

A guy here just picked up a 2nd zed, much cleaner than his current 2+2 na.

So wanting to put the best parts into the good car.

found a writeup on how to convert, but wondering if the actual wiring is there, or need to do that.
