Hey Guys, putting my Power FC D-Jetro up for sale. This was used in my rebuild and would suit someone else wanting to go to MAP style ECU. This unit has come straight out of my car and is ready for use with Z32. "The Power FC is a complete, stand alone, total engine management system capable of handling virtually anything thrown in its path." - www.apexi-usa.com

    • Eliminates need for AFM allowing dual intakes
    • Allows 20x20 mapping
    • Warning functions for knock and injector values
    • Currently tuned for Nismo 740 injectors

The ECU itself is ready to plug in, as are the MAP sensors and wiring assosciated harness. The twin map sensors include T piece etc for use with Nissan VG30DETT. The Power FC also supports twin knock sensors for anyone who has a second sensor installed.

Asking price includes the Hand Controller/Commander unit. The hand controller is very user friendly and can be configured to display the following:

InjDuty - Injector Duty / How busy the injectors are
IgnTmng - Ignition Timing - Camshaft timing
    AirFlow - Airflow meter voltage
    PimVolt - Map Sensor voltage
    Eng Rev - Engine revs
    Speed - Road speed
Boost - Boost Pressure (requires optional boost kit fitted)
    Knock - Knock sensor reading
WtrTemp - Water temperature or engine temperature
    AirTemp - Air inlet temperature
    BatVolt - Battery voltage

It also records maximum readings, so you can review max water temps/injector cycle/air inlet temps/knock numbers etc after a drive. I have found this feature particularly useful.

VTC is controlled via a Greddy multi switching unit, which is also included in the price. The Greddy is a two channel arming switch, so with one channel running VTC you have an optional second output for thermofan, sprayers, what have you! The Switching unit wires directly into the ECU and can switch based on settings on one to three paramters. It can also function as an alarm/warning unit. All wiring is included.

All care was taken when removing this from the vehicle to make setup and installation as easy as possible for the next user; wiring has been left intact and the only splicing required will be for the Greddy switching unit. This really is a good ECU for anyone wanting to exceed the limits of Nistune, I am only selling as it doesn't quite tick all my boxes anymore.

Condition: As new, ready to plug in.
Price: $1800 delivered, the lot. Make an offer if you are genuinely interested but feel this is too steep.
    Location: Sydney (North)

    PM any enquiries.

    More Info

    Some more info...

The Power FC can also run four stage boost control if used with the Power FC Boost Control kit (not included). A quick search shows the correct apexi boost control kit to cost around $400 -so similar in price to Profec B or other quality external EBC.

Great ECU, no issues with cold starts etc. as far as I know and it's really easy to find a Tuner who knows the Power FC inside out. :)

might find it a bit hard to sell considering the vipec v88 can be had for similar money. good luck however, very user friendly ecu :)

Hi, yeah I am familiar with the Vipec -there's one in my car at the moment :D Great ECU and very versatile, but nowhere near as user friendly as the Power FC. The Vipec has taken literally days to setup and tune, whereas the Power FC is literally a case of plug in the harness, connect the vaccum hose for map sensors, and drive to your local dyno for fine tuning.

The hand controller is a nice feature too. The equivelent digi display from Link (Vipec) adds a cool $900+ to the price tag!

Free LED kit if sold by 10/8

Yes you read correctly, I will throw in a free "full" LED kit with this ECU if it is sold by 10/8

Hopefully it's someone else's kit & not mine ha ha ;)

Maybe a stupid a question but I found a apexi power fc for a bullshit cheap price, it's off a sr20det.. Any chance this would work or be modified to work with a z32 ?

The many variants of the power FC are not designed to be straight plug and play with the Z32. Gotta change a few pins etc to be compatible. As far as I know, the power FC designed for some of the skylines can be modded to suit. I'm assuming that is what this unit is?

You are right apexi don't make a plug in ecu for z32, UAS do their thing in house to adapt them. The previous slot car motor (prior to running VQ) used a power fc d-jetro too.

Just to clarify the setup I have for sale is plug in for 300zx and comes loaded with a z32 nismo 740 tune.

    Spot on.

The Power FC has been great; very user (and tuner) friendly, handles bucketloads of power, and maintains good startup and dribeability.

But yeah I want some more flexibility in terms of inputs and outputs than the power FC can deliver.

Tektrader Z32 Hoe, service me baby

If I was going to continue developing my road car Rob, it would have been sold already.

Why dont you just keep it? I cant beleive the Haltech ( or any other aftermarket ECU's will be that much better.
