not personally but i know they charge the world mate, depending on what you want done, i usually take mine 2 cypher industries in o'conor for jobs i cant tackle myself.. What do you need done mate?
Rechip and tune as hyperdrive who never got back to me I phoned them did not think they would be doing tuning on 300s in the furture as there laptop is still stuffed has been for 5wks
i had my old 180sx tuned by AJ at speedworks they do charge alot, but i have herd very very few bad reports about them, ie, they do the job right, first time.. i wouldnt touch hyperdrive.. cypher is a go in my books.
Most of my cars service history is from Speedworks. They seem ok but maybe just a little pricey, but then it beats paying someone a bit less to have a crap job done that ends up costing you more... From what i have heard though - they people that used to run Speedworks have sold it and started up another workshop and new people have taken Speedworks over?
speedworks won't touch TT z's, mate, they will do suspension and wheelalignment stuff but no mechanical work, gearbox or motor cheers
Mines TT and ive got the paperwork saying they chipped it and tuned it and other stuff like replacing bits and pieces. But as posted on antilag forums (analgits ) back on the 25th Nov this year... SPEEDWORKS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Speedworks is still running, i purchased the business on the 13th Nov.... Biki Rom is still continuing........ Nothing has majorily changed at speedworks, just that the ownership has changed and Sean and Nic have moved to their own workshop.... We have acquired very good staff to replace them and Sean still does our tuning.... i was on the understanding that Speedworks and WheelsWorld were the same business, i got an alignment done and asked them if they were interested in putting my new clutch in and they said they don't work on Z's anymore ( too difficult, cars and owners), my mistake if i am incorrect cheers

i use speedworks, and find they do charge a bit. but in my experience they do the job correct, and are more than helpful. when my car has been there, they call me every hour or so its there and give me updates on the car's progress. may be a bit pricier than other places, but with the service i've personally received, happy to pay for it. with regard to that they don't service zeds, my understanding was that they were only servicing zeds that were already on their books. can't confirm that though. its one of those things where plenty of people have had different experiences, try a search on them, you'll see what i mean. cheers Jay
cost mine was 750$ all up including chipping and the dyno tuning. They had the car for the entire day. AJ gave me an extensive run down on the tune when they were done showing me all sorts of graphs on the computer and generally just explaining every thing really well. Was really good. Also showed me some of the equipment they used to listen for detonation etc. was happy to pay the 750. But. this was when AJ was the one doing the tuning. Its some one else there now, I have no idea what he's like, but AJ had a good reputation for tuning cars, or so NISSAN?s than any thing I guess.

I've been doing the ring around lately for tuning my new setup when it all goes back together, and I 'THINK' AJ is tuning at X-Speed, but have not been able to confirm this. Lumpy at Hyperdrive will charge $880 to tune it and has Zed experience through his own Z32. Just a thought, but I would be happy to pay $1000 to tune my Zed if it made the choice of tuner any less nerve wrecking, don't want to have to go through a rebuild cos a tuner takes risks with my car.
Found the invoice. Tuning/progaming ecu inc. dyno hire + mod ecu and prep for live tuning + boost controller and install = $811 It was about $150 for the boost controller and install tho. This was dated back in late '03 tho.
