Looks like the burgundy bullet needs an engine R&R
In typical Z style the Exhaust Manifold gaskets need replacing (as I blew a chunk of the gasket out at No.6 flange).
    Z sounds like a tractor :p
Although at 22+ PSI, an awesome tractor it is.
Pity so much work is required for such a small repair.

I've always had a slight leak (audible) there, but since winding the old girl back up, pushing 450HP ATW was too much for the gaskets.

I'd suspect they reused the old ones when they fitted the turbo kit 3 years ago.
Anyway, I'll give us a chance to get at all the old brittle oil and water lines to the turbos, as the plumbing is really complicated on the external gated system.
Also we can fix some of the small but annoying oil leaks (sump, cam gears). Just the usual Z stuff :cool:.
Just a shame, as the car runs so nicely, and I have been waiting so long to get the Z back up to it's potential.

Oh well, nine tenths of awesome just won't do I guess.
Might even do a 100K service for good measure while out.

I'm already pushing 7 PSI by 3000 and over 14 PSI by 4000rpm.
Once I'm getting all my exhaust to actually run through the turbos, it can only get better :p

This is pretty good. What do you think contributes the most to help achieve these figures?

    Good chance

To have a good look at it and tidy everything up whilst it is out Greg.
Those numbers can only get better.:)

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

Lock me in for your pull & push weekend if you have one Greggy. Just let me know when.
I'm happy to come and give a hand mate. We can just about do these missions blind folded by now. DZSFTMFW! :zlove:

Due to the added complexity of the furbos and associated entanglement of twist and turns, I'll take this to Eric.

In answer to the other question, this is the trust TD0516g turbo kit especially designed for the Z32.
External gates, Stainless tube manifolds, so for a large turbo, it spools nicely and early.
It's all (the kit) very compact, but as you know, there's not much room for cat swinging in any Z32 engine bay, so having big dryers and additional pipes, well, it's just crazy tight.

Same turbos as this Z, just needs the supporting gear and a driver change :p
Let's you know what the turbos are capable of though with the right supporting mods. 10.4 sec 1/4 mile:eek:
