Car's history is no secret. Recently pulled apart and rebuilt by WA Aus300ZX members as had been lead to believe it had HG issues.

This turned out to NOT be the case. Possibly 1 slightly loose head bolt? And coolent seemed to be being lost via loose rad clamp on replaced radiator.

Regardless, car was stripped down and rebuilt including full gasket set, head gaskets, heads fully machined, timing tensioner, valves, pivot ball, turbos (replaced with good quality used turbos) and anything else we found along the way.

Due to time we did NOT replace coil pack connectors but a box of new parts INCLUDING these is part of the sale.

EDIT: failed to mention the gumtree add is that it's also got the original floor mats, targa bags, and I think also original tools.

Car is also fitted with all original gauges and 300kph speedo and ALL were working on the 1 hour round trip I did with the car the other week.

Unfortunately the Z is no longer running, the RAC said it could be a slipped belt (not sure)
I have no more money to put into it to fix it up, will consider reasonable offers

Why don't you go to the shop where you done your timing belt... It's only 20 000k's since serviced ???

They should cover repair work on the warranty

We are currently looking into fixing the problem with the Z, however if anyone wants a project car that is fully registered I will consider reasonable offers.

 

Hey mate, drop me a line. As I posted in the resurrection thread I am open to working out something. I'm after a clean registered body, so was thinking along the lines of you strip out a bunch of the parts to sell separately, hopefully get some more $$ back compared to selling it as a full car and I basically take a rego'd shell. Drop me a PM and see what we can work out.

Erm.....congrats? :zlove:

All i can say are 3 things.

1) Given how stock and un-molested it is, I'd say you got a friggin bargain.

2) I'm glad it went to someone who went above and beyond to help Simon out in his time of need, and was really the brains of the operation, driving further than anyone else for someone you didn't know.

3) I still feel for Simon of course. We all chipped in to help and 14 months later the car was more dead than before

Full circle and I'm glad to see the car is in good hands. The right hands to finish the job.
