300ZX magnetic sump plug GB

I've been thinking about getting a magnetic sump plug for ages but never got around to it. During my enquiries relating to the plastic clip/fasteners GB, I was offered a deal on some magnetic sump plugs for the 300zx.

Magnetic sump plugs are beneficial because they attract small metallic particles from the oil as it circulates through the sump.



Normally suppliers won't do a GB on something this trivial, but these magnetic sump plugs have been made available to forum members at a price of $9.90 on a minimum purchase of 20 units. FREE delivery will also be included as part of this GB

from that previous G/B, I ended up with a brilliant magnetic pick up tool .... attached the non fitting magnetic plug to a length of flexible hose and WHAMMO ... the best magnetic pick up tool ever .. !!!

Great idea zx299. But those greddy ones dont fit on the zed unfortunatly. I know this as i ordered one from coz about a year ago.

Upon screwing it back in the sump the thing refused to go in and kept pushing on an angle.
Had a spare sump at hand on a work bench, looked in the hole. Yep some metal ber thingy baffle blocking the long magnet on the greddy plug. Awesome magnet though.

Apparently the magnet on these sump plugs hits the windage tray inside the sump of the 300zx

Bummer, this was a good deal too
