300ZX Magnetic sump plug GB MkII

During the instigation of 300ZX Magnetic sump plug GB MkI it became apparent (thanks to some forum members) that the 300zx has to have a special magnetic sump plug........ so it was 'back to the drawing board' on the GB.

My search for the appropriate magnetic sump plug was running up against one brick wall after another due to the fact that all these 'so called' 300zx sump plugs were only 'universal' sump plugs (which don't fit the zed)

I finally found a supplier who knew of the 300zx problem and had designed a magnetic sump plug to suit. WOW, fancy that....... an actual magnetic sump plug custom manufactured for the 300zx :zlove:


Magnetic sump plugs are beneficial because they attract small metallic particles from the oil as it circulates through the sump

The normal price on these is $21.00 (at this stage I was prepared to pay $49.95 for one that fitted ) and while the supplier was not too keen on discounting, a GB forum price of $16.90 was negotiated for members on a minimum buy order of 30 units (should be easy enough, how many zeds on the forum ??? ) FREE postage (within Australia) will also be included as part of this GB

Also, as an added GB bonus, each 300zx magnetic sump plug purchased will come complete with 5 sump plug gaskets (normally $0.47ea) included in the price

I want one, but I think I'd be scared if I found metal deposits on it, haha.

Is it normal to find minute traces on them after an oil change or is the presence of any deposits bad news?
