today, thanks. The magnets on these things are incredibly strong for there size, I cant see anything other than clean oil circulating in the diff and gearbox after their installed,

 

Received both sets today, packaged very well!
Are they stainless or aluminum?

See what you mean about the magnet being brittle.
It does look brittle (there is a tiny chipped bit in mine, so I can see it can easily shear)
I will be very careful installing it.

Budget gearbox/diff plug set.......

I've had some enquiries about using the Matching Filler plugs as a 'non magnetic' plug set....... for those that don't want a monster Magnetic drain plug, the Matching Filler plugs can be substituted for the magnetic drain plugs in the gearbox/differential of the 300zx

A substantial saving can be had by eliminating the monster magnet from the set, while still retaining the convenience of the 14mm hex head on the plugs (for those on a limited budget)
