300ZX Dual intake GB

Im in and it would be great if it could be for a complete kit as nobody has to go looking for the other parts. If as mentioned there is a complete option for the kit i would be getting that. If you need me to pm you let me know and i shall. Thanks.

There is no ''complete kit'' available....

because of the vast number of different Pod Filters and hardware/software options in use.

The closest thing to a "complete kit" is the Selin Translator package available in the US. It is $510 + shipping, and you would still have to source your own 2nd filter to complete the installation.

As I stated earlier, I had contemplated adding the bare Selin Translator as an "option" but didn't think there would be enough interest in the S/T to enable a bulk purchase. If you have an interest in the S/T, then send me a PM and I'll see if we can come up with some numbers.

This GB was created to offer members a "value" alternative to the expensive Dual Intakes currently on the market, so please don't clutter this thread with "ifs & maybe's".

 

Ok.. so at the moment.. we are looking at buying

2X elbow's.
(possibly) selin translator.

1X selin translator


And let us source our own 2nd AFM and pod then i think it would take off

agreed. at 330 rwkw my AFM is at 5.1 volts (WOT - full load), so you have not only the pipework restriction, but also a single AFM is pretty much out of resolution to measure the airflow.

 

so it's been a month

How are we looking for this GB? news?

 

I think this ended up becoing a full Selin kit and translator combination. But didn't get the numbers.

To clarify

So if I had a nistune stage 2 chip I can program the difference on the AFM being halved and only need the elbows? Is that right - if so then please add me to the list as I have the stage 2 chip already

Answer....

Nistune will have a facility to alter your AFM recognition for Dual Intakes.

OMG - FALSE ALARM
Supposedly this was a pre - manufactured kit I was looking at on ebay but it connects after the intercooler pipes on closer inspection. looked good to start with - lol

I saw some JDM ones that look good in theory - carbon fibre with turbo inlet but there further away from the quick connection that your headed for

I can connect better with your idea, its much simpler for me
