Reason for Selling: Need to get a more practical car for work and home life (sad I know!)

The following is my attempt at being as honest as I can be upfront about the car.

The good:

• Koenig 18? rims
• Koenig widebody flaring on rears and shaving of front indicators
• New polyurethane GReddy front bar
• Front mount intercooler
• HKS mushroom pod filter
• ?EBoost? boost controller (currently set to 9 low ? 12 hi)
• Full alarm with remote start from control unit and turbo timer
• New PWR radiator with thermo fan
  - Recently flushed and pressure tested
  - Has temp sensor inline with adjustable setting
• Series 2 PTU
• Full stereo system including JVC headunit, JVC splits, DVD screen and 12? Pioneer sub run by Response 2 x 100 watt amp
• Brake booster "Chilli Brace"
• New o2 sensors
• Recent full plenum pull completed including TB water hose re-routes, new PCVs, new coilpack plugs, gaskets etc
• All new hoses throughout the engine bay including IACV, AAC, heater hoses, PCV hoses, radiator hoses and new vac hose all around
• AIVs and PRVR delete completed
• 100,000 km service has been completed
• ?Serial? Consult plug and USB adaptor included
• Targa shades and bag included

The car made 202rwkw @ 12 psi at a Zed Dyno day last year (needed some tuning)

The bad

• Front tyres need replacing, rears are at about 50%
• Some &%* reversed into the rear bumper the other day causing a small amount of paint damage
• Weather seals round windows are broken (been trying to get replacements)
• Usual paint bubbling on the rear wing and it will need to be replaced eventually
• Bonnet alignment is slightly off (not from accident!, someone jacked it by the crossmember...)
• Bushes in some suspension parts are shot. Am planning on replacing these before sale but depends how quickly someone gets interested
• Much of the interior vinyl is peeling. Am planning on replacing this too.
• Boot plastics are quite scratched on one side (before my time)

There are a couple of other things that should be fixed by the time someone looks at (such as the 'LIGHTS' light turns on when you break as I used a spare globe of different voltage when I blew one)


I have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this car and have really enjoyed owning it. It has been maintained as best as possible and gradually repaired and improved as I have gone along.

In general the car drives great, with no smoke, start problems or strange things wrong with it. Most of the annoying work has been done to get the car mechanically sound and now it just needs someone to continue to improve on that foundation.

Not in an immediate hurry to sell, but the more work I get done on the little things I have mentioned the more firm my price will be.

brilliant looking car dude, absolutely pristine example. I saw this on eBay tonight and was going to message you to ask - where'd you pick up the polyurethane GReddy bar? UAS have them in fiberglass and so does eBay, but so far as urethane all I can find is from the US.

for that matter, the 2k spec tail lights? again, UAS have them, but they're very expensive.

I got the Urethane bar from another member on the forum, so cant tell you where it came from originally.

The 2k lights are fake as Mafi mentioned, a member on here does them and they look great!

 

Price drop

Hi guys,

Just a quick update on this:

• New tyres on the front and back.

• New tie rods on the front

• Bonnet alignment is fixed

Still gradually working on the other small things.

Absolutely beautiful car. If i was in a better financial situation (AKA not a student in the CBD of Brisbane, I wouldn't hesitate in buying this car at all. Its pretty well stock, beautiful color, leather interior, manual and low km's. Beautiful car.
