Gorgeous blue zed w/ white stripe... Member?

Hey :zlove:, I just remembered seeing a beautiful blue zed with 2 white stripes (i think) and white interior at Sydney Autosalon about a year ago. I think the owners name was Bob, but it was quite a while ago now. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if he is a member on here? And does anyone have pics of this car??

Btw speaking of awesome looking blue zeds... ed300zx I am looking in your direction! :zlove: I would love to go blue one day and I love the look of your zed. Subtle (well kind of ), but still stands out...

Yea i have an article on this car in issue 86 of high performance imports magazine. its the only one i own lol but i have it just because of this z. guys name is bob ashton an when the article was written he was running 12 sec 1/2 mile with 340rwhp. might not be insanely fast but it looks amazing. i can scan pics up if anybodys interested. or maybe check up see if the magazine has a website with archives.

 

There's a lot I like about it, and more I dislike...the rear is especially disgusting. But no matter what you have to respect the time and effort that's gone into it, 5 years of his own time. He obviously loves his car and had a vision for what he wanted and achieved it. Respect.

I Love this Z TBH.

I cant wait to paint mine, I like the stripes but i want something different.

He has done sort of what I dream of doing to mine.

Dont get me wrong I like the paint job but why single out the GT40?
