Re fitting an NA.......

.......It can be done but requires moving the bottom and top brackets closer together to accomodate this Rad. Talk to Chrispy he has done it.

BUT, if that is too much trouble for the NA owners I have a shipment of NA Rads coming in from AMSztore in the next few weeks. The price won't be as good as these, but they will be very, very good and AMS make a really top grade Rad for the Z32 NA.

 

Just another vote of interest in the ASI silcon hose... intake and maybe even radiator hose.

To help clear things up. The PWR core and radiator is ALL made in Brisbane, and check out the pics and video even of the 10 million dollar premises. I spoke to Mark there today re this subject which they are aware of a few rumours flying around falsely claiming there cores are from China. They are happy to give a tour of the new premises, including seeing the machine that makes the cores etc.

They are more expensive but top shelf and never had an issue with damage as packed well and all tested prior to that. The core is unique and the best on the market and quality and design are right up there also.

Hi All I would like to clear up some miss leading information that street to strip is saying. PWR has manufactured all of there own radiator cores for the last 10 years at no stage have we or will we buy a imported cores from any Chinese manufacture such as ASI.So the information that street to strip is saying is total bullshit. ........what one of your employees told me 3 weeks ago Mr. And, ASI have confirmed that they do supply Cores to PWR. I think by you attempting to discredit my business in this way is an absolute joke on you Sir. It is up to the general Market as a whole as to who they believe. There are many products in Australia that have made in Australia on them, that are merely assembled here. All I have done is pass on information that I have been told by whom I consider truthful authorities on the matter.:zlove:

ok look i think that what ever the outcome is here, this price is awesom either way. Its all been good comments about these radiators and for the price.... i dont think people really care where they come from, as long as they work....

<sigh> what a shit-fight, how un-usual.

The biggest difference here is going to be in QC of the manufacturer and the welding. Most, if not all of these are going to be fine products. But the goods from SE Asia don't have the QC of australian made products as they are made to a price, not to a standard.

And on that note, as I am looking seriously at this for purchase, whats the warrantee and it's terms, I may have missed it but I didn't see it outlined in the thread. If I buy one and a weld fails in 3 months do I have to send it back to whence it came from to be checked and tested before send me out another. Will you be handling the warrantee side of things for ASI in Australia STS, or just the middle man for sales?

And secondly, we have the PWR owner here saying they don't use ASI cores and are all designed and manufactured here, who are you to call him out as a liar. Fact is you don't know, ASI could be lying about this and if you spoke to a employee of PWR who told you ASI cores are used then he may have been mistaken and not known who ASI are. Your rather defensive of this whole thing. And quite rude about it as well.

Just concentrate on selling your product and not trying to discredit another company. It's a 56mm radiator below $300. It's a great price, that's enough for most people and you don't need to go ripping into PWR with shaky allegations at best.

 

ASI radiators are guaranteed by ASI for a year against manufacturing defects.

 

And my question was what happens if it fails due to manufacturing defects? Do I send it back across the ocean or does STS handle warrantee as well?

 

And i was just answering the first part of your question, im sure Paul will clear up the rest..

Correct - Warranty is......

......1 year Warranty against manufacturing defects.

Product can be returned within 7 days for either a cash refund of the full purchase price, or a replacement as per the ''ABOUT ME'' section on the ebay add under search ''300zx Radiator''.

.......If the waranty claim is genuine there is no problem in returns. In any case any of the products I sell I follow up personally if there is a warranty claim and the customer advises me of it, not just this Radiator, but all the products I sell. There are a several of my customers, both Zed Forum customers and others, over the last 3 years, that have had their products either replaced or refunded in full.

You will also notice in that section, a reference to a list of a few Businesses ASI supply Rads to. I believe PWR is mentioned unless I am seeing things.

If incorrect it is up to ASI and PWR to sort out I believe.

If that is incorrect information that I have received from ASI and a PWR employee, then that is that. But if it is not, that is also that. I have merely represented what I believe to be true. This in no way shape of form has belittled the PWR product which is excellent, but no better than the ASI product in my opinion. It is up to the market to decide where their money goes and on what product.

I merely provided information at my disposal.

My philosophy from the start of this business and still is, is to provide excellent top brand products and the lowest prices I can possibly get and still stay in business to serve my customers.

I am not here to please competitive traders

As far as China is concerned, we had better get used to it, that they are here to stay and will grow more popular ad more powerful in the Market Place.

There is a lot of excellent products coming from there, and also many well known brand companies having their products made there to keep the costs down to remain in business.

Remember when Japanese cars were '' Oh no!!!!! " back in the sixties with the Datsun Bluebird. Now look at them. AND, what cars are the Zeds??????????
