weather strip coating

    i was wondering what material is the weather strips coated in.. i was thinking of getting mine recoated instead of getting new ones...

    You can use liek a rubber base spray or heat shrink I read some were I dunno how that would go coz it covers the clips :confused:

    i was thinking of getting really fine sand paper and sticking that on... it seems like its the same material.. and i could go white strips to match my white car :D

    you want to coat it with plasti-dip. this is a rubber coating sprey ;);)

    you can get it from tjm 4X4 supplies $25 a can.

    you can get it in different colours... dont know if white would stay that clean though :eek:...

    this is also the stuff you can do you cowls in...

    just 1 thing.. do i need to sand it back ( the cowls) or just sprat it on top..

    sand them back..

    shit i wish i had known about this stuff when i did my cowels, the paint i put on has already gone shitty
