weather strip coating

i was wondering what material is the weather strips coated in.. i was thinking of getting mine recoated instead of getting new ones...

 

You can use liek a rubber base spray or heat shrink I read some were I dunno how that would go coz it covers the clips

 

i was thinking of getting really fine sand paper and sticking that on... it seems like its the same material.. and i could go white strips to match my white car

you want to coat it with plasti-dip. this is a rubber coating sprey

you can get it from tjm 4X4 supplies $25 a can.

you can get it in different colours... dont know if white would stay that clean though ...

them cowls are new again....so this is the stuff you were telling me about.....amazing stuff.

 

just 1 thing.. do i need to sand it back ( the cowls) or just sprat it on top..
