[NSW] BATHURST SPEED WEEKEND! 1-2 DEC

Just got my entry confirmation to the Supersprint event today and looking forward to running in this after watching last years event from the side due to a dead clutch.

Saturday 1 DEC Supersprint down Conrod, through the chase, pit straight and onto mountain straight.

Sunday 2 DEC Mountain Straight Hillclimb up to McPhillamy Park

I will be going out on the Friday night to camp out there for an early start so I am posting this here out of interest for others as this is a great event and there are many car shows, displays and other stuff going on. Was also wondering if some other Zedders would be interested in a cruise out there on the Saturday.....????????? Wont be out there on the Sunday as got to work, but anyone keen?????

Good luck Matt, I am so jealous. That event is definately on my "to do" list, but with the zed in pieces at the moment, and then working at Phillip Island with the V8s that weekend I'll have to miss this year.

I'd love to make it but I don't think my GTR would be competitive enough.

Anyone in NSW got a Camera I can bolt in for footage. Might try rig up the digital with trigger!

Matt, did I read that you've got a cage? ...or at least a half cage?

 

Yep got a 6 point cage!

But its out at the moment as I am selling it so I can go for a weld in half cage in the rear and bolt in for the front! Although thinking about bolting it back in temporarily for the belt down conrod straight LOL.

Sorry Matt but I will be working this weekend. This will be the first year in many that I am going to miss this event.

Have a great weekend out there. Wish I was getting my Zed ready for it instead of sitting at home waiting for a callout that may not happen.
