    Im with CommInsure..

who are underwritten by aami and they were the cheapest for me, try an online quote first.
also shannons are pretty reasonable and i think some of the guys on here worked it with them so that our forum is a registered club with em so you get a deiscount? Can anyone help out on this?

Try young and cool, they quoted me bit over $800 with couple of mods.
But i dont think they will insure anyone over 31 or somthing. no harm in trying

I was quite lucky to have mine insured by SGIO even under my parents name, the only reason they insured me driving the car was that it was fitted with an immobilizer, otherwise they wouln't have done it :)

i got mine when i was 20 & was gettin the same monster quotes that you are so chucked it under dads name. best deal we could find was with CGU through the brokerage OAMPS, $1200ish, but only insured to $13.5k i think. im set up as a nominated driver & my rating is still improving each year & its saving me like $2k a year so im pretty chuffed. just renewed it last month, rating had improved and price had dropped about $100.
definately recommend you check em out.

    cheers, tim.
