    Hello Team,

I am getting the turbo engine out of my Z31. I have found some standard Z31 turbo pistons. To use these the engine would need to be sleeved. Not that terrible really.

However, has anyone bored their turbo and then fitted standard pistons, which would pump up the CR? Did it work and was 98 fuel the extent of the fix.

    Thanks,

    Roland

I can't answer your questions mate, but if the bores are not damaged why not use z31 turbo pistons.

I think the question you are asking is has anyone fitted non turbo pistons to a turbo engine.

    Yes that's the question.

Obviously different cylinder heads, not sure of clearance from valves, or difference in weight of pistons.

    IB ?????

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy new pistons than getting the block sleeved?
