Any guides on how to replace? my Zed has the typical issue of stuck on defrost only. Have Googled without a lot of luck... Seems that the US pages are saying it's located on the drivers side so I assume it is located on the passenger side on the RHD models?

Are you ready for it ?

If you pull the passenger seat & glovebox, you might gain access :(

Thanks! glove box and passenger seat doesn't seem too bad? "might gain access" sounds less than ideal though o_O

This actuator marked with yellow x will control the mixer

The mixer door motor is on the drivers side.

If the door motor you are looking to replace is on the blower (which is behind the glovebox, see photo) then I can't see you accessing that with the dash in place :(

I don't think you can get the blower out without pulling the dash because of the top mounting bolt, and if you're going to pull the dash you may as well leave the blower in situ and just swap out the door motor

The blower pictured stands upright, it is laying down in the photo

Welcome to the world of zeds

Ah great haha, I do want to replace my dash for a better one (mine has some weird fading and scuffs due to something being mounted on there at some point) maybe this job will be part of giving a bunch of other stuff under the dash a birthday...

Thanks Jason, I know now exactly what that screwdriver is for... Its to remove the Climate Control ECU which is annoyingly trapped in place by the clutch firewall mount. Basically the mode door motor cannot be accessed until the ecu is removed which can't be removed until said screw holding it in place is removed.

Alternatively the clutch assembly needs to be fully dropped out of place.
