Hi all, just wondering if anyone has bought hoses from Worley Auto Parts in Vic? I found an online site with a very cheap intercooler hose kit and radiator hoses and looking at replacing the silicone hoses ive already got as the clamps have dug into them a bit over time. They are an Australian based seller and offer 2 years warranty on the hoses so thought they mustn't be too bad. Thoughts?

Very cheap if they fit (and no reason to think that they wouldn't).

I'd avoid the cheap ebay hoses and the like, you can see them baloon when you rev the car in neutral so they're probably terrible under boost.

They needed a little trimming too :( I got some see how they were cos im missing 1 of the pipes I was using but might just use the hard pipes for now.

Regardless of quality you should always stick to hard pipes with short couplers for intake/intercooler. So much less likely to halve blow offs or blow outs.

They used to be a bit noisy sometimes, i could hear the air going through them at boost so i didnt use them much. And more spots for boost leaks

Hard pipes are a PITA to remove/refit ........ 8 couplers with 16 hose clamps makes life more difficult than it needs to be.

If you want to avoid the clamps cutting into your new Silicone hoses, get yourself some T bolt clamps. A far superior clamp and they are 19-20mm wide across the band which stops them from cutting into the hose.

T bolt clamps by design seal poorly. They also tend to sit proud of the lip on the throttle body.

A decent quality hose clamp like the kind below will seal better and will not damage the hose. Key points being a rolled edge and the track is raised rather than cut out of the band.

Not as much of PITA as being stuck on the side of the road in the sticks because a pipe blew off when you went for an overtake.

I found that too, Ive bought t-bolt clamps before but ended up going back to the other ones. T-bolt ones looked cooler tho
