Hi everyone. I have designed, and can print a replacement for the OEM clock. I will be selling them for $30 delivered in Australia. You will need to supply the original clock cover.

They will be printed in ABS - so they have no problem with the hot Australian summer.

There are a few different colour options:
    • Blue
    • Green
    • Red
    • Yellow
I have only seen the blue one.

    ALTERNATIVELY
You can supply the electronics (and the cover of course), I'll supply the 3D printed housing only. This will be $20 delivered.

Full disclosure: The electronics are available from eBay:
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Digital...torcycle-24-Hour-Time-DC-7-30V-N/183186026690

The below photo's show the housing in white. This is a colour I use for draft prints only. The final colour will be BLACK.

Let me know if you want one. Ideally I would like to start posting them out at the 2nd week of July, but I still have to order and receive the electronics.

I'm not sure what your supplying for $30 vader, is it the housing for the digital clock, or something else?

I assume he supplies and assembles the white housing (which will be black) and the digital clock parts, we supply the original clock cover?

I repaired my first non working clock using the intructions in one of the tech articles. While it'll light up and work, resets all the time. Bought a 2nd hand one which works and settled with it ever since.

I suspect the ones you have bought are likely repaired so they pass off as being functional but pretty much useless since they can't hold time.

This offering is absolutely fantastic, it's an affordable alternative without trying to hunt down that elusive working 2nd hand clock.

How well does it keep time? (how quickly does it gain or loose time.)

The eBay's listing of accuracy 10ppm doesn't really tell me as I don't know what's in scale of.

A clock that is accurate to 10 PPM will lose 0.864 seconds per day, or 6.048 seconds per week, or if you prefer, a bit over 5 minutes per year.

I have ordered the displays to build 15 blue, 2 red, 2 green and 1 orange. They will be a few weeks away. In the meantime I will print the housings. Once done, I'll let everyone know.
