hi dose any one know a way to replace the water pipe above the egr value it looks like a bypass hose I missed it while I had the plenum off wot a job that is it looks like there’s no room to get in there and remove it and replace it is there any tricks thanx
Hose or tube? If it’s the steel tube you probably want plenum off so you have room to unbolt and re seal. If it is the hose that runs to the passenger side turbo that can be done plenum on.
Hope not iv only just got it back together and went out today and got the rest of the stuff I need to get it running I went out and got a radiator flush gun as well to flush the cooling system properly it uses water and air
Long nose pliers, get some silicone spray to aid getting the hose on, and hope you didn’t do something silly like change the spring clamps out for screw type clamps (spring clamps are way easier to manipulate in tight spaces).

Lol it sounds like u have done this once or twice thank u for the advice I can’t believe I missed it as I replaced the othe one that runs dowen the back of the on the left side this is the shot one I missed well I’ll fix it tomorrow hopefully no more surprises
Yes or strap on but they are good tools and they replace them when faulty no hassle that way I only have to buy them once
yep cheap tools aren't cheap in the long run and there not nice to use when they are working anyway. cheap tool are a lose lose scenario.
And not to mention the cheep ones strip everything they don’t do the job they make more work and headache in the long run I learnt the hard way
yep me too bought a cheap black and decker jigsaw 25 years ago. it was shit but because i had it i never bought a good one and because it was shit i never used it . So it was a lose lose scenario. Finally bought $1000 german one and realised how good a tool they are. Smashed the black and decker to pieces with my claw hammer and it was the only enjoyment it ever gave me.
Having had various tools back to Snap-on for repair over the years, I can guarantee it is anything but a "no hassle" exercise. Here's one example: The infrared printer for my 5 gas exhaust gas analyser failed. Sent it for repair via the Snap-on dealer, being the only way you can have anything repaired. 3 weeks later, informed it can't be fixed, so ordered a replacement. Priced somewhere around the $600.00 mark. Waited, waited & waited some more, no printer. Contacted Snap-on Australia, it's been ordered, don't know when it will be available. Contacted Snap-on USA, can't help, have to deal with Snap-on Australia. Waited & waited again, no printer. Purchased a replacement from the UK. 8 months after placing the order the Snap-on dealer contacts me to say "Your printer's here". That’s pretty poor Graham, must be a frustrating experience for you! By contrast I have a 1/4” snap on ratchet that I found under somebody’s hood while I was still doing road service. The bearing failed as they do, and I took it to the snap on truck where it was promptly repaired under warranty without any mention of receipts or questions of provenance. It’s still the nicest (to use) ratchet I have.
