    Hi all.
Has anyone set up a flat shift— Gear cut control function?
Can the clutch switch be used?

    ECU is a Link G4+

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers.

Flat shifters I've seen usually work from a strain gauge gear lever knob but that would be for clutchless shifting. In use you might find that using the clutch switch would result in a too long cut, after all the benefit from flat shifting is less shift lag.

Could a clutch switch be set up so at certain engage and disengage points fuel and ignition are altered.

So somthing like having it set up to only activate at WOT or 90% throttle

Yes, I have full throttle shift on my Z32 TT.
The clutch switch is what is used to activate the RPM limit.
It cuts fuel, not ignition, which can be set at any predetermined RPM.

It is an additional feature that is, or was available with the Racelogic Traction Control system.

Read the help file. It shows how to setup flat shift using the clutch,
HP academy also has a webinar on how to set it up.

Wish I could help more. My setup uses a gear knob sensor and a limit switch to put the cut signal to the link ecu and its a dogbox too so its a different beast.

I have a 100% ignition cut with power re introduced over 100ms with -20deg igntion retard. If it helps.

You reintroduction would be longer to let the syncros do their thing...

I remember that setting the clutch switch is very important. It needs to activate just a the clutch starts to disengage/slip.
