LoL. Doing some tread digging Gunwarm?

Edit: To contribute and maybe revive this thread some.
I have a rather high mod count on my car. Those of relevance would probably be.
JWT 500`s, GTX 2063`s, Nismo 740`s, aftermarket ECU, SZ 3"-2.5" exhaust and MSP manis.

Recently i did some tuning to improve my milage and got it to 0.97litres to 100 km`s. Not city driving but not really highway either. Pumpfuel obviously

Also forgot to mention. Ported heads with 1mm oversized valves. Breather mods

surely Necro'ing an 11 year old thread has to be some sort of achievement

    LOL---------------fuel economy

The Z32 doesn't have fuel economy.......... expect 16 litres per 100 klms for a TT driven as it should be.

8.3ltr per hundred city and freeway driving lots of 3rd and 4th gear sprints too. Get about 345 to 369 per 7 days of driving. NA Cat back and Pod intake. 5 speed manual. Got better with pod filter.
    Run on 98 Ron

    I don't think I have a low fuel light.
1990 Auspec (auto and No Turbo)

About 8km per litre of fuel driving around the suburbs.

OXYMORON - "a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction"
    e.g. 300ZX fuel economy.
If you're not burning fuel you're not having fun.
Anyway, what's wrong with thread necro? Recycle those corpses I say!

wow it comes back...... but to add to the specs my Auto TT driving on stock wheels from Gero to Perth (400kms to the dot almost) sitting on 110 pretty much constant used 35-40 litres of fuel

For those who feel we need harsher penalties for thread diggers.

Why start a new thread when an old thread can be searched and referenced and quoted with updates.

The old threads (and knowledge they contain) are the feature that sets this forum from the new wannabes.

Anyone can start a website forum (or just a facebook page) but that is just a bunch of newbie questions and opinions based on ...... ?

I've always had mixed feelings about thread digs.
The consensus for a thread's opening question CAN change over time.
In some cases new info from new members will change the consensus, because better parts choices
or improved diagnostics have become available years later.

But with a thread like this one? I'm just here to have a chortle :D

    AndyMac Better than you

Yup...lets be honest here...every single possible question about the Z32 has been answered on here by about 2007. You could run AUS300 with no new info with a search bar and a non-zed discussion thread.

..... and it is always obvious that newbies haven't even attempted to search for any of those answers because
    1. Thread title doesn't relate to question
    2. CBF when they have that feeling of entitlement
    3. Obviously doing this seemingly dead forum a favour by asking a general question and never bothering to check back for an answer.

I treat this forum mostly as a database, have done since I joined in 2009. It's a darn good database and it's relevant to Australia. But I do miss the shenanigans of yore :D
