This specific one has been available overseas in the US, Europe and Japan for a while (since 2015 I believe), but not Australia until now. We've been missing out on Nismo Zs for a long time.

Ahh I see. Guess the yuppie brigade isn't as prevalent in Australia, considering that was the market it was primarily designed for. Suppose that's why there are a ton of Toyota 86's getting around.

Next thing you know they'll bring the fax machine to the Australian market!

Makes you wonder why, are they trying to stimulate the market because they have no new ideas or trying to clear stock before they announce a new model?

A bit more blood out of the stone. Seems more like a marketing gimmick than a car worthy of the Nismo brand. Just like the current hilux TRD - nothing more than a dress up pack to sell more units.

Is it just me or is the car a bit on the ugly side?

...did you read the article? Because it seems like you don't actually know what's in a 370Z Nismo.

C'mon! $10k more for bodykit, wheels, suspension tune and bracing? Oh sorry, and 8kw more... It's all just :W::W::W:

There've been bigger changes throughout the lifespan of the standard production 370z

Haha, no, there haven't been "bigger changes throughout the lifespan of the standard production 370Z", and this isn't the same thing as a sticker-tuned Hilux. I've driven the Nismo, and I assure you it feels quite a lot different to a standard Z34.

It's okay though, nobody is forcing you to buy one.

Was there ever a Nismo version of the z32? Or just the Stillen models etc? Saw an ad on Gumtree a while back with someone trying to sell what he described as a Nismo edition z32 for nearly 30k. Car was very tidy, but 30k, no thanks.

Z34 has aged worse than all other Zs. It was striking when it came out, slowly however it began to look fat and bloated and I'd dare say a 350Z looks better than a 370.

NOT an ugly car, but in my humble opinion, no where nearly as beautiful as a Z32TT T-top(I am somewhat biased...):rolleyes2::br:

I quite like the new nismo, the pre 2014 facelift nismo was nqr. Ditching the fangs on the base model in 2012 was just weird, the daytime running lights look so out of place.

My supercharger kit set me back about 8k and you can pick up a locally made tt kit for about 12k. Bang for buck the nismo is a little hard to justify for the price difference though...
