How to get to this lovely pipe

Hey guys, here to try and find out if I can avoid the worst case scenario in my head.

Had a coolent leak from the drivers side start a few months ago, water dripping onto the turbo. Got it home, pressurised the system and found a hose had semi popped off on the drivers side. took a photo of it. Sneaking suspicion its part of the so called 'bastard hose' but very happy to be proven wrong.

Ive tried to highlight the hose and pipe but.. I may have just made it harder to see.

Hoping to avoid pulling the plenum to get to it, in fact I'm not even sure if that will let me at it.

Anyone got any hints? Considering going down and getting a real long set of long nose, but still don't think ill be able to get it.

Hopefully the pic comes through ok..

Agree to that, do a plenum pull, replace, remove, fix up all the fiddly little bits maybe even replace your rocker gaskets etc whilst it is all off. Pain in the arse i know, but long term better now than later.

I had a sneaking suspicion that would be the case sigh. Ah well, ill get stuck into it in a couple of weeks time when ive got some free time.

Water lines bypasses should be done I believe, previous owners receipt for 100k service lists it done at PZP.

Still, be good to get in there and give everything a refresh for sure.

Think I will redo as many connectors as I can, injectors, coilpacks and the like. I have pcv valves and lines, det sensors and new o2s that are just waiting for some time to go in. Shall be fun.

If anyone has some general good suggestions on things to replace in the meantime, please fire away. Especially things like harness connections and things like that.

    Thanks for the advice,
    Trent

Sorry for double post - one thing ive noticed is I believe my throttle bodies have a slight leak, as they whistle at me.
Is it possible to service or rebuild them?
I actually have a second plenum I spent along time semi polishing here... might be a good time to actually fit it!

Basically do a visual of the connectors you can see and what state they are in, if they look old and worn or even halfway there, rip them out & replace them, may as well replace all hoses and clean up the rust or grime around the pipe edges. Do a water pipe removal and blank off the openings. Just a small guide to help you out, plus good idea too host a tech day, booze and food work wonders, plus the experience the guys bring with them is worth it.
